OUR PROJECTS
Our Goal Program also focuses on teaching our students the importance of caring and servicing our community. Through community service projects our students learn about responsibility, discipline, and leadership.

TOYS FOR JOY
SCOTTISH RITE TOY DRIVE
BMMS GOAL and Texas Woman's University Social Workers have come together to work on a community project. TWU Social Workers are currently working on their Practice III project and have joined forces with our program to make this project a success.
The project consists of a toy drive at our campus. Our students are actively involved in motivating other students and teachers to donate. Also, our students were in charge of decorating posters, flyers, and boxes in order to get this sproject started.
Another extension to the toy drive project is a 5K Marathon project taking place at Bettye Myers Middle School on April 25th. Our students and volunteers will be an essential part of this project's success. Our kids will be in charge of providing water, snacks, and other services to our runners. These projects will help our kids to be active and to leaders in our community.
All donations (toys and funds collected from 5K Marathon registration cost) will benefit and go directly to Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in Dallas.
We are proud and excited to be a part of this community project. Our students will benefit greatly from this experience, and our program will grow and make a difference in our community.
